  39. Well, I think I have a functioning demo to send to Giark for the List 
  40. game (using John Bintz's old raycasting routine). I didn't want to 
  41. have to use his, (I would prefer to use mine) but it was the only one 
  42. I could work out on such short notice. I would have (and will be) 
  43. using mine in the future as soon as I get it worked out (I've had 
  44. a problem with the distance), but until then, this will have to do.
  45.  
  46. Attached is MY routine thus far (not the demo for the List game, 
  47. but my raycasting routine, with the ASCII tables needed to run it, 
  48. which, btw, are not converted to banks yet). I'm sending it to the 
  49. List in the hopes that someone will be able to help me figure out 
  50. exactly what's wrong with it. I've seriously considered re-writing it 
  51. and starting over after I finish up my current demo.

  53. Anyhow, anyone may look at it and modify it as they wish (so long 
  54. as to make it work), and then send it what they've done/modified.
  55. You may NOT spread it around, except for the purpose of letting 
  56. someone else see and/or correct-modify it.

  58. I would have refrained from sending this TO the List, but I figured 
  59. this way EVERYONE can see it, which would mean more people could help 
  60. me than the the 3 I originally asked (Two of which will remain 
  61. nameless at this time, and the third which DID help me (Mush) via 
  62. e-mail and IRC. Thanks Mush.) I don't want to hear any complaining 
  63. either. This files NO BIGGER than 6k, and w/the message, it's nothing 
  64. to whine about, especially considering it's worth it.
